Emergency Veterinarian Position

Veterinary Specialty Hospital of Palm Beach Gardens is looking for a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Palm Beach, FL.

Our progressive compensation model is designed to reward your impact, offering a competitive base salary alongside production opportunitieswith no negative accrual.

Youll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. Youll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.

• The ONLY ER/Specialty hospital currently Fear Free Certified in the area.
• Fully equipped with MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, Olympus endoscopy, fluoroscopy, high-definition laparoscopy, high-definition male and female cystoscopy, interventional radiology, and a diode laser.
• A willingness to add other technologies at the request of our specialists.
• We are committed to providing better, innovative medicine based on collaborative input from our team.
• Supportive and helpful relief pool to help with ER Staffing and coverage.
• An amazing support team to assist our Dr.'s with complex cases.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $180K/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Your Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License:
• Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
• Obtained prior to start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
