Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy (required)
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license (required)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to suit a diverse caseload, from elementary through high school
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in the school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students across various grade levels, in accordance with IEPs and assessment findings
• Collaborate closely with other school professionals, providing insights and training as needed
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students physical and functional needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and maintain detailed progress documentation
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and home program recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the development of student goals
