Reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, our Customer Support Representative plays a vital role in engaging Customers within the Cashier Area and Club Desk, providing outstanding service during the checkout experience. Responsibilities include processing returns, exchanges, gift cards, and promotions while maintaining an orderly and inviting front-end area. You will handle secure payment transactions, share product information, and stay informed about promotions. By delivering exceptional service and nurturing lasting Customer relationships, you will contribute to increased sales and a top-notch Customer experience. Key Responsibilities Connect with every Customer and provide outstanding service by applying PGATSS Service behaviors, focusing on building lasting loyalty. Greet and engage Customers in the Front-End areas (Cashier Area, Club Desk). Perform all Front-End operations, including returns, exchanges, gift cards, loyalty programs, discounts, and promotions. Contribute to maintaining a premier merchandise presence in the Front-End areas to enhance sales and the Customer experience. Ensure all Front-End equipment and supplies are well-maintained and fully operational. Exhibit a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance throughout the organization. Maintain the Front-End area in a clean and professional manner at all times. Securely process cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Respond to basic product inquiries, provide store information, and direct Customers to appropriate team members when needed. Stay updated about upcoming promotions and marketing events, maintaining a strong merchandising presence throughout. Act as a champion for our products and services, educating Customers about offerings. Provide ongoing feedback to the Sales and Service Manager regarding operational and merchandising improvements to enhance the Customer experience. Qualifications and Skills Required Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills, with effective verbal and written communication capabilities for cross-functional collaboration. Computer: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred. Working Conditions and Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, move throughout the store, and lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs overhead. Schedule: Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Business Acumen: Quick learner with the ability to grasp business operations through training. Accountability: Demonstrated self-accountability and a proactive approach to achieving results.
