An excellent contract opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to work with a school-based caseload of approximately 37 students. This full-time role runs from ASAP through December 18, 2026, and offers a dynamic environment across multiple sites, primarily serving elementary-aged students. You'll provide essential therapy services that support students’ physical development and maximize their participation in educational programs. The schedule consists of eight-hour days, five days a week, offering consistency for both you and the students you serve. Highly competitive pay beginning at $43 per hour, commensurate with your experience, ensures your expertise is valued.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage elementary-level caseloads
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to travel between multiple nearby schools as needed
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment strategies
• Deliver direct therapy services and provide consultation for students, teachers, and staff
• Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate school personnel and families on mobility, safety, and adaptive strategies
• Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team to promote inclusive educational environments
• Adapt interventions as needed to meet each student's evolving needs
