They are incredibly detail-oriented and hands on.The Difference You Will Make:The PM team at Airbnb is building an incubation machine to rapidly test and launch new business ideas that extend Airbnb beyond its core stays offering. We are seeking an exceptional product manager to drive this incubation engine — partnering closely with business, partnerships, engineering, and design to take new ideas from concept to validated MVP. In this role, you will own product work across multiple incubation tracks simultaneously, designing and piloting minimum viable experiences that test key business hypotheses. You will work within a modular platform of configurable components for most incubations, and partner with engineering and design for deeper integrations.A Typical Day: Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple incubation tracks simultaneously.Translate new business ideas and hypotheses into clear MVP scopes, leveraging the Guest App’s configurable platform components wherever possible to minimize engineering investment.Design and run pilots with clearly defined success criteria and measurable OKRs; synthesize learnings quickly and make data-driven graduate/expand/stop recommendations.Build strong working relationships with business development, partnerships, and external partners to ensure new offerings integrate seamlessly into the guest experience.Craft compelling product narratives for new incubations — for internal leadership alignment and for external launch communications.Develop and maintain a prioritization framework that balances multiple concurrent incubation tracks against core product demands.Foster open communication and curiosity across a scrappy, fast-moving team.Operate with speed and quality, shipping features, learning, and iterating with high throughput.Your Expertise:10+ years of consumer product management experience.Track record of taking 01 product ideas through incubation, piloting, and graduation to scaled products — at a consumer internet company, marketplace, or equivalent.Strong business acumen: ability to rapidly assess business viability, size opportunities, and translate loosely-defined hypotheses into testable MVP scopes.Comfort operating in ambiguity; able to structure new problem spaces into actionable roadmaps with minimal process.Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities and tight timelines.Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills across business, partnerships, engineering, design, and data science.Experience developing product narratives and working with marketing and communications to bring new offerings to market.Comfortable doing hands-on individual contributor product work and mastering the details in a scrappy environment.Demonstrated curiosity and point of view on incorporating AI tools into the product workflow.Nice to Have:Experience with marketplace or travel/hospitality products.Background in new business development, venture, or startup-style teams within a larger organization.Familiarity with platform-based product development (configurable components, merchandising systems, API partner integrations).Experience building products powered by partnerships or external API integrations.Your Location:Due to the nature of this position, there is a strong preference for the successful applicant to be based in San Francisco, CA ir New York, NY to be able to conduct their work.
