Branch Manager

Peoples Bank is looking for a Branch Manager to lead our team, grow relationships, and make a meaningful impact in the community. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the branch, including team leadership, customer relationships, lending, deposits, sales, operations, and regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working directly with customers while developing and coaching a high-performing banking team. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the branch, including team leadership, customer relationships, lending, deposits, sales, operations, and regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working directly with customers while developing and coaching a high-performing banking team. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop branch employees while fostering a strong culture of sales and service. Build and deepen relationships with individuals and businesses in the community. Develop new loan and deposit relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships. Manage branch lending activities, including analyzing creditworthiness, structuring loans, monitoring repayment, and managing asset quality. Drive achievement of branch goals for loan growth, deposit growth, profitability, and customer service. Oversee daily branch operations, including internal controls, audits, cash/vault procedures, and regulatory compliance. Partner with other areas of the bank to provide customers with a full range of financial solutions. Participate in community events, sales calls, and other business-development activities. Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and employee development. Work closely with the Market President to execute strategic initiatives and achieve branch objectives. What We're Looking For 5-10 years of banking experience with demonstrated success in sales, operations, and staff leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, preferred, but not required. 2-3 years of lending experience preferred, but not required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees. Strong business-development and sales skills. A proven ability to balance customer service, business development, and operational excellence.
