Nursing Unit SecretaryOur client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Nursing Unit Secretary to join their team. In this role, you will assist in coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating patient, physician, and staff needs within a supportive team environment.Responsibilities:Assist the team in coordinating and prioritizing patient, physician, and staff needs.Communicate effectively with team members and patients.Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.Requirements:Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience, preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Basic computer skills.High School diploma or GED required.BLS from the American Heart Association required.Schedule:Full Time position with variable hours.Shift varies.Compensation:$16.00 - $22.45/hourBenefits:Medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision plans.Life insurance.Paid time off (minimum of 14 paid time off days, including holidays annually for full-time benefit eligible team members).Tuition reimbursement.Retirement plan benefits including 401(k) and 403(b).
