Capital Management Oversight Risk Manager

Vice President – Capital Management Oversight
Location: New York, NY
Work Type: Hybrid, 2 days on site
We are partnered with a global financial institution is seeking a Vice President to join its Treasury Risk Management function, providing independent oversight of capital adequacy and capital management across its Americas entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and challenge capital ratios, RWA, leverage exposure, buffers, limits, and targets
- Oversee CCAR and capital stress-testing methodologies and results
- Assess compliance with U.S. regulatory capital requirements
- Evaluate the capital impact of financial products, business strategies, and capital actions
- Present analysis to senior management, boards, and global risk committees
- Partner with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and business leadership
- Support regulatory engagements and enhance capital risk governance and reporting
Requirements:
- 5+ years in capital management, regulatory capital, stress testing, treasury, or risk management within a large bank or FBO
- Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory capital requirements, CCAR, RWA methodologies, and leverage ratios
- Understanding of financial markets and how products affect capital under baseline and stress scenarios
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project-planning skills
