Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulating RN for a hospital position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications along with call coverage.

Details

• Operating Room setting performing circulating duties
• Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric (ages 7-100)
• Preferred surgical specialties include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry
• Responsibilities include intraoperative and postoperative/PACU care
• PACU training provided for candidates without prior PACU experience
• Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Call required on a rotating basis, generally every third weekend and 1-2 nights per week
• 45-minute call-back window required
• Oracle/Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of travel RN experience in OR circulating required
• Experience in endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, or podiatry preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 100 miles are subject to a reduced local rate for the 50-100 mile range
