We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Machinist to join a rapidly growing precision manufacturer in Big Bend, WI supplying aerospace, defense, and medical markets.This direct-hire position offers guaranteed stability, zero micromanagement, structured career advancement, and high earning potential with top-tier shift differentials.Core ResponsibilitiesPerform independent setups and operation on multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.Adjust tool offsets, set fixtures, and execute tool changes to maintain tight tolerances.Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and custom gauging.Read complex engineering blueprints and apply G&M codes and GD&T principles.Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant machining station.Key Qualifications2+ years of CNC machining experience with at least 1 year performing independent setups on mills or lathes.Solid technical literacy: Blueprint reading, G&M codes, and GD&T fundamentals.Quality Focus: Proficient with precision hand measurement tools.Work History: Stable, dependable employment record with strong attendance.Proximity: Residing within daily driving distance of Big Bend, WI.
