Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled 15+ years of Data architect to design, develop, and optimize our next-generation data platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights by building robust ETL/ELT pipelines and maintaining a scalable data architecture. You will work extensively within the Azure ecosystem, leveraging Snowflake and Databricks to ensure our data infrastructure is performant, secure, and reliable.


Design and implement complex end-to-end data integration pipelines using Matillion and Python.


Architect and manage large-scale data sets within Snowflake, ensuring optimal clustering, indexing, and storage strategies.


Utilize Databricks (Spark) for high-volume data transformation, feature engineering, and stream processing.


Build and maintain scalable data solutions within Azure (Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Key Vault).


Contribute to the blueprinting of data models (Star/Snowflake schemas, Data Vault) and ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards.


Monitor and tune queries and pipeline performance to minimize latency and cloud compute costs.


Proven experience with Matillion for ETL orchestration and Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse.


Hands-on experience with the Azure data stack.


Strong proficiency in Python (specifically for data manipulation libraries like Pandas, PySpark, or NumPy) and advanced SQL.


Experience building and scaling clusters within Databricks.


Deep understanding of Data Architecture principles, including data modeling, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).


Familiarity with version control (Git) and deploying data pipelines through automated environments.
