Industrial Mechanical Technician

Industrial Mechanical Technician The Industrial Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of system‑controlled robotics, machine tools, and equipment. Responsibilities Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment, determine strategies to repair and rebuild. Perform preventative maintenance, extensive repairs, diagnose problems, plan and complete required work, and identify and order parts. Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, and facilities including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws, lubrication fluids, and coolant. Apply knowledge of components, devices, and equipment used in industrial applications and related mechanics, including various machine tools and measurement devices. Eligibility Requirements Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. High School Diploma/GED with a Military Machinist Training Course. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical maintenance role at a manufacturing facility. Strong mechanical and hydraulic fundamentals and safety knowledge (schematics, precision measurement tools, LOTO). Ability and willingness to work off‑shifts, weekends, and either the 2nd shift (3:00PM‑11:00PM) or the 3rd shift (11:00PM‑7:00AM). Compensation and Benefits Hourly base pay range: $35.68 to $43.89. Pay may vary based on experience, education, and skill set. Eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases, COLA increases, and a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00 per hour.
