Location: Detroit, MI

Start Date: Fall 2026 (flexible for early 2027 start)

Duration: Full-time employment

Shift: Monday Friday, with night call (1-2 times/month)

Hours/Week: 40 hours

License/Certifications: Board Certified in Neurology (required)

Experience: Proven expertise in Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology

What You'll Do

• Provide expert clinical care for adult and geriatric patients with cognitive and behavioral conditions
• Lead and support research efforts, including clinical trials within the Henry Ford Neuroscience Institute
• Develop and enhance the Center for Cognitive Health
• Educate and mentor medical students, neurology residents, and fellows
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Support efforts to reduce the burden of dementia and neurodegenerative disorders
• Participate in night call coverage as needed in a Level I trauma setting

What You Need

Required:

• Board certification in Neurology
• Michigan medical licensure (or eligibility)
• Strong leadership and research interest in cognitive or behavioral neurology

Preferred:

• Experience in academic medicine or clinical research
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience
• Ability to develop and support innovative clinical programs
