Vendor Program ManagerAt Ascentium Capital, the Vendor Program Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key vendor relationships while driving funded volume through effective program execution. This role operates as a strategic relationship manager at the vendor level, partnering closely with internal sales teams and sales coordinators to deliver a seamless client experience and optimize program performance.Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, provides convenient access to financing for business equipment and technology and serves small organizations to Fortune 500 companies with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and direct to businesses nationwide. We strive to be the premier provider of customized finance programs that add value to our customers' businesses.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages a portfolio of strategic vendor relationships, serving as the primary point of contact at the program levelBuilds and maintains executive-level relationships with vendor partners to support long-term growthDrives portfolio performance, including volume growth, retention, and program profitabilityOversees vendor program health and ensures alignment with vendor leadership, while driving volume growth through influence, coordination, and executionPartners with Vendor Sales Account Managers and Sales Coordinators to execute transactions and deliver a consistent client experienceOversees and optimizes program structure, workflow, and service delivery across assigned vendorsMonitors portfolio performance and identifies opportunities to increase adoption and utilizationEnsures alignment between vendor expectations and internal capabilities, resolving issues proactivelyProvides forecasting, reporting, and insights on vendor activity and growth opportunitiesCollaborates cross-functionally with credit, operations, and sales leadership teams to enhance program effectivenessThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of commercial, small business, equipment financing, or related sales experienceOr High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of commercial, small business, equipment financing, or related sales experiencePreferencesBachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and other applicable sales toolsSkills and CompetenciesAbility to drive outcomes without direct sales ownershipAbility to research, analyze data, and derive factsAbility to work in a team environment when applicableAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesData-driven mindset with a focus on performance metricsDemonstrated ability to present information effectively to different audiencesFinancial acumen and understanding of equipment finance/vendor programsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritiesStrong organizational skillsStrong relationship management and influencing skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationPosition TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
