Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 in accordance with unit standards
• Float between like units or sister facilities nearby as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in orientation (approximately 36 hours) and complete required modules prior to and during the orientation period
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; Labor and postpartum experience is a hard requirement
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of candidacy; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Familiarity with floating between like units in a hospital environment
