Experienced Family Law Attorney

Job Overview An established and growing law firm is seeking an Experienced Family Law Attorney to join its Fleming Island, Florida office. The attorney will represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, manage cases from inception through resolution, and handle courtroom proceedings with the support of experienced legal staff and modern case management systems. Duties Represent clients in divorce, child custody, timesharing, child support, and paternity matters Handle alimony, post-judgment modifications, and enforcement actions Represent clients in domestic violence injunction proceedings Manage family law cases from initial consultation through final resolution Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to efficiently manage case files Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the litigation process Requirements Experience practicing family law preferred; experienced litigators seeking to transition into family law will also be considered Ability to independently handle hearings and courtroom proceedings Trial experience, including first-chair experience, is preferred Strong client service and communication skills Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with a legal team Professional, compassionate, and organized approach to client representation Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services Education and Certifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active Florida Bar license Skills Family law litigation Divorce and marital dissolution matters Child custody and timesharing litigation Child support and alimony matters Paternity actions Domestic violence injunction proceedings Legal research and drafting Courtroom advocacy and trial practice Client counseling and relationship management Case management and organization Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits Performance bonuses Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Retirement plan Paid time off Paid holidays Professional development assistance Continuing legal education support Modern legal technology and software Experienced legal assistant and paralegal support Opportunities for career growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
