Job Summary:

Provide specialized speech-language therapy services to patients, assessing communication and swallowing disorders and developing individualized treatment plans to improve functional abilities.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing functions through clinical assessments.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on patient needs.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on therapy exercises and strategies to support ongoing improvement.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with facility policies and state or federal regulations regarding clinical documentation and patient confidentiality.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in evaluating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• 
  Possess prior experience working with diverse patient populations.
  
  
• 
  Show ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current CPR/BLS certification.
