PERSONAL CARE AIDESJob DescriptionFollow the Client's Service Plan. Duties include but not limited to, bathing (bed, tub and/or sponge) shower; toiletry, grooming, shaving, dental care, dressing and eating proper nutrition, home management, light housekeeping, ambulation and transfer, taking vital signs, and arranging and accompanying client to the doctor, picking up prescriptions, documentation of client's food and liquid intake and output, medication reminders, change diaper, empty Foley catheter, basic first aid and CPR, range of motion, in-home emergencies, infection control, maintain Client's confidentiality and provide watchful oversight of the Client.Observe and report on any needs, changes in the Client's condition or any other problems that may affect the Client to Document all changes or problems on Task Sheet.Demonstrate competency in meal preparation and clean-up, homemaking and laundry, Mobility and walking assistance Kitchen and bathroom maintenanceToileting and personal hygiene assistanceMedication remindersRoutine transfer assistanceBathing and showering assistanceTransportation and errand running servicesEmployment RequirementThe successful candidate must possess the following:a valid Certified Nurse's Aide certification for the State of Georgia;pass a competency assessment (written/practical) ; at least one (1) year of professional experience;two (2) professional references; CPR/First Aide certification(s); documentation for current TB test;maintain confidentiality; anddriver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.Auto InsuranceGchex fingerprintBank Slip W/account and routing numbers or voided check (direct depositBackground is required and random drug testing.
