Application Support Engineer - Hedge Fund

We are working with a leading hedge fund, investing heavily into their systematic strategies. They are looking for an engineer to join their technology operations team, taking responsibility for infrastructure / application production support, and operations of the systematic trading platform. You will: Provide front line support for systematic trading platforms Ensure reliability, maintainability and performance of production environment Serve as first point of contact for production issues, support requests and alerts Investigate and solve issues and outages as they occur, escalating if necessary Collaborate with software development teams to ensure successful deployment of new code into production They are looking for someone with: Experience managing complex deployments and environments Experience supporting applications in a linux environment Understanding of monitoring and incident management, with experience using Elastic, ServiceNow or Jira ITSM ITIL certification or equivalent incident management trading Understanding of FIX protocol 8+ years of experience in the financial services supporting trading & post trade systems A degree in Computer Science or related subject You will join a dynamic team, with the entrepreneurial spirit of a small firm within infrastructure & technology or a large organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business
