Registered Nurse - Oncology

Oncology Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting treatment and patient education. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols while maintaining compassionate patient interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer oncology treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
• Float between clinics within the skill set, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Collaborate with tumor groups to coordinate exams and treatment plans.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including certifications and licensure requirements.
• Support patient education regarding treatments, side effects, and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact State nursing license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 1 year of outpatient oncology experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and ambulatory care.
• Be willing to float within skillset and follow staffing ratios.
• Show compliance with background and certification requirements prior to start.
