Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients/families and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Identify ethical issues in the practice setting and address them with the team. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire Experience: Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
