Overview
MRI Technologist (Radiology – MRI) in Potsdam, New York. This travel assignment starts 08/24/2026 and runs for multiple weeks. You will work 3 x 12-hour daytime shifts Monday–Friday, with an approximate daily volume of 15 visits. Weekly pay ranges from $2,268 to $2,364. Placement is in a hospital radiology setting within a community hospital, with one MRI suite and a 105-bed capacity. Epic charting is required for submission and Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI experience is favored. A New York license in hand is required to submit, along with BLS certification. Floating to related radiology tasks is expected to support coverage.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams on the Siemens Espree 1.5T system, including neuro, spine, abdomen/pelvis, MSK, and breast imaging sequences
- Administer contrast and initiate peripheral IVs; monitor patients during procedures; ensure safety
- Apply post-processing routines (MIP, MPR) and prepare images for radiologist review
- Adhere to imaging protocols, optimize image quality, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records in the charting system (EPIC) and assist with scheduling and coordination
- Support a multidisciplinary radiology team and participate in unit operations, patient transport, and patient care workflows as needed
- Float to related radiology duties to cover workflow gaps while maintaining standard of care

Requirements
- Active New York radiologic technologist license in hand to submit
- Certification: BLS
- Experience: 1–2 years of MRI technologist experience; Siemens Espree (1.5T) experience preferred
- Core MRI skills: Neuro, spine, abdomen/pelvis, MSK, breast imaging; contrast administration; IV starts; standard post-processing (MIP, MPR)
- EPIC charting experience is required
- Ability to work weekdays with 3x12-hour shifts and to float to support coverage
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Background checks: Case-by-case review
- Age range: All ages; facility serves pediatrics through geriatrics
