A 50-bed hospital in Bayfield, WI is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to fulfill a Travel Pharmacist role. This opportunity offers a chance to provide critical pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital setting starting ASAP, with an assignment duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medication orders to ensure appropriate drug therapy, dose, dosage form, regimen, and identify potential drug interactions or therapeutic duplications
• Provide pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing expertise
• Deliver clinical pharmacy services, including medication reconciliation and discharge medication education to improve patient outcomes
• Oversee pharmaceutical compounding with adherence to USP regulatory and compliance guidelines, particularly USP 797 and USP 800 standards
• Utilize EPIC pharmacy information system for clinical processes and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active WI pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a WI Temporary license
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
• Comfortable working independently in a hospital environment
• Knowledgeable about USP compounding standards and experience with EPIC preferred
