Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER experience required; recent traveler experience preferred

License: Oklahoma State License or compact license required

Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC (preferred), NIHSS

Must-Have:

Work history
Skills checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
2 supervisory reference forms, taken within the last two years

Description: An Emergency Room nurse's primary responsibility is to identify medical issues. Determine the severity of the conditions presented by patients. Provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects. Sustain life when necessary. An Emergency Room nurse is one of the first responders when a patient is admitted. Candidates must possess the required certifications and experience.
