Accounts Payable Accountant

Position Title: Accounts Payable Accountant Wage: $24.00 - $25.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm Location: Manitowoc, WI QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Accountant at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a temporary position for 1st shift. Responsibilities Process invoices and post business transactions Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records Process weekly check, ACH, and virtual card payment run Resolve payables-related issues with internal and external stakeholders Reconcile GR-IR account to ensure all invoices are processed timely Maintain account ledgers and assisting in monthly closing Track and pay sales and use tax Perform vendor statement reconciliations Support internal and external audit requirements Process annual 1099 File RE & PP returns Work with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis Requirements Associate’s degree in accounting SAP experience preferred but not required OpenText experience preferred but not required Analytical skills Detail oriented and organized Computation skills Written and oral communication skills Problem solving skills Ability to stand, walk, stoop, prolong sit, or lift up to 10lb as needed Employer Information QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
