Details Home health setting serving adult patients in their residences on the Big Island Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Occasional floating to cover Oahu, Maui, and/or Kauai may be required with float expenses paid 25 units productivity expected per week No on-call responsibilities Uses OASIS documentation system Requirements Active HI RN license required in-hand at time of consideration BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 1 year of home health nursing experience required Minimum 3 months of OASIS documentation experience required Experience with adult home health skills including admission assessments, case management, recertification, resumption of care, and discharge planning required Experience with wound care, ostomy/feeding tube management, catheter insertion/management, and IV/central line/port care required Experience with medication and pain management, including use of pain scales, required Experience obtaining vital signs and coordinating services required Psych home health, tracheostomy care, and HCHB documentation experience preferred Additional Information Provide skilled home health nursing care to adult patients, including start of care, transfers, and significant change in condition visits Perform a wide range of clinical skills including phlebotomy, IV starts, blood/blood product administration, and infection control precautions Scrubs (any color) and closed-toed shoes required Unique opportunity to serve local kupuna within the Hawai'i Island community American Traveler Job ID P-748090.
