Commercial Lines Account Manager II

A growing independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and retain an established book of business. This person will work closely with clients, producers, carriers, and internal team members to deliver strong service, manage renewals, and support day‑to‑day commercial lines account needs. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys problem solving, multitasking, building relationships, and providing professional service in a team‑focused environment. Responsibilities Managing commercial lines renewals and retention Reviewing renewal policies and carrier offers for accuracy Preparing renewal and remarketing submissions Negotiating with carriers and underwriters Handling endorsements, cancellations, audits, inspections, and claims support Preparing proposals and renewal materials for client meetings Serving as a liaison between clients, producers, carriers, and the agency team Maintaining accurate documentation in the agency management system Communicating with clients and team members in a timely and professional manner Supporting workflow, open tasks, policy changes, and client service requests Assisting teammates during overflow, vacations, and busy periods Qualifications The ideal candidate will have prior Commercial Lines Account Manager experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced agency environment. A positive, helpful, team‑oriented attitude is important. A Florida 4‑40 license is required.
