Head of Regulatory Affairs

Leading the enterprise-wide regulatory affairs function, the fully remote Head of Regulatory Affairs will establish governance frameworks, oversee regulatory examinations, and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on regulatory risks and compliance matters. Key responsibilities Establish and lead the enterprise regulatory affairs strategy and governance framework, ensuring proactive engagement with regulators Serve as the primary liaison for significant regulatory and legislative matters, coordinating responses to complex issues Oversee the management of regulatory examinations and inquiries, ensuring timely and effective engagement across the organization Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, MPA, or equivalent preferred 15+ years of experience in insurance regulation, regulatory affairs, legal, compliance, or related fields Deep understanding of state insurance regulation and government affairs Demonstrated leadership of complex regulatory initiatives and executive-level engagement Proven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate high-profile regulatory matters
