Logistics Coordinator

Yahara Materials is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Logistics Coordinator to support our daily operations. This role plays a critical part in coordinating schedules, managing transportation logistics, and ensuring timely communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently and smoothly. We are family owned and operated, specializing in surface mining and processing of limestone rock and sand and gravel. Yahara continuously updates its equipment with the latest technologies in processing plants and mobile equipment, keeping up with industry demands. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and positive attitude. Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Dependable team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, customer service, manufacturing, or a similar operations-focused role is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule the timely delivery of materials to customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Dispatch company and third-party drivers, managing daily routes and adjusting schedules as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery timelines and order status. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed, fulfilled, and invoiced accurately. Maintain detailed and accurate records of shipments, delivery confirmations, and related documentation. Monitor delivery progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts, delays, or service issues. Identify opportunities to improve routing, communication, and overall logistics efficiency.
