Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for students with disabilities
  • Ability to adapt materials and methods to meet diverse learning requirements
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities in individual, small group, and classroom settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in coordination with staff and families
  • Track and report student progress, utilizing data to adjust instructional approaches
  • Create a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom climate that supports students’ social and academic growth
  • Partner with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and success
  • Advocate for students’ needs and promote inclusivity within the school community
