Exciting Opportunity for a Pre-Op RN Job Description: - Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 9 Pre-op beds, 5 Phase 2 recovery beds - Staff: 8 full-time RNs (2 open positions), 2 part-time RNs, 4 PRN RNs, 1 unit HUC - Day Shift Staffing: Same as above - Night Shift Staffing: 0 - Patient Ratios: 1:3 - Equipment: Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, bladder scanner - EMR: Meditech - Typical Hiring Profile: - Must have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience - BLS & ACLS certifications - Preferred: - Pre-op experience or ability to assist pre-op staff - Prior Meditech experience - Typical Procedures Performed: - Phase 2 recoveries of Urology, GYN, and other SDS patients - Pre-op surgeries, Endo, Cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, blood transfusions - Best Personality Fit: - Patient experience is a top priority - Excellent communication skills with staff and providers - Unit Guidelines/Policies: - On-call required with a 30-minute response time when on-call - 2 - 10HR on-call shifts required every 8 weeks - Why You Should Choose This Unit: - Experience a competitive edge in a very dynamic and innovative environment - Collaborate with a skilled team focused on patient care and advanced medical technology Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
