Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Regional Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Regional Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Special Education team. Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year is based on experience. Travel requirement: up to 50%-70% to maintain on‑site presence at all campuses within the assigned region. Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for all designated schools. Create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with ChanceLight standards and district guidelines. Support the development of measurable, objective IEP goals and facilitate progress monitoring with on‑site instructional personnel. Implement evidence‑based interventions applying scientifically proven behavioral and educational strategies. Provide crisis management intervention and support for students exhibiting aggressive or self‑injurious behavior and develop strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing. Collaborate closely with on‑site education teams to collect and analyze data on student behavior, monitor progress, and ensure appropriate intervention responsiveness. Conduct regular quality checks for each campus within the assigned region at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels and provide recommendations for improvement. Support the development of on‑site teams through delivery of training on behavioral assessment, intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisis management, and related topics. Provide guidance and supervision to staff pursuing BACB certification (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA). Assist in the development and implementation of improvement plans for assigned campuses to enhance student performance and staff effectiveness. Engage in multidisciplinary on‑site and regional team meetings to discuss behavioral needs and contribute to support strategies. Monitor and ensure adherence of all campuses to Department of Education regulations and internal standards. Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities. Provide operational support to all schools in the assigned area, focusing on academic achievement, behavioral support, staff retention, and development. Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational success. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or a closely related field. Licensed or in the process of obtaining a board‑certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential. Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company‑approved crisis management training. Valid state driver’s license. Highly knowledgeable in training and implementing applied behavior analysis techniques, including effective teaching strategies, classroom management, data‑driven decision making, FBA, and BIP in an educational setting. Experience providing training, professional development, and coaching to teachers and educational staff. Skilled in working with individuals with severe learning, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, or other related disabilities preferably in a special education program. History of success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for students with diverse needs. Proficiency in motivating students and having critical conversations that move them toward realistic goals. Ability to build relationships with students, parents, teachers, and community or district partners. Capability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions. Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
