Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team within a Level IV NICU setting. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in a Level III or IV NICU and be adept at handling a variety of neonatal patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough respiratory care for patients, including monitoring and management of ventilator support.
• Administer specialized therapies such as Bubble CPAP, HHFNC, and ABG analysis.
• Utilize various respiratory equipment including Oscillator, Bunnell Jet, Draeger, and NOx Box INO.
• Work closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately within the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting.
• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Washington State (must have proof of application if not yet received).
• Certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), and RRT are required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is essential.
• Ability to work every other weekend; additional shifts are available if desired.
• First-time travelers are welcome with at least 5 years of overall experience and 2 recent years in Level III or IV NICU.

Work Environment

You will be working in a 152-bed hospital that features a 70-bed Level IV NICU, providing critical care services to neonates.
