Systems AdministratorMirazon is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Project Consulting team. This role is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting client technology solutions, including workstations, servers, Microsoft 365 environments, networking equipment, and virtualization platforms.The ideal candidate is a mid-level IT professional who can independently execute technology projects for small and midsize businesses while providing exceptional client service. This position works closely with Systems Engineers on larger and more complex engagements and serves as a trusted technical resource for clients throughout project delivery.This is a hybrid position based in Louisville, Kentucky.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy and configure desktops, laptops, and end-user technologyInstall, configure, and migrate Microsoft 365 environmentsImplement and maintain Windows Server environmentsDeploy and configure virtualization platforms, including VMware and Hyper-VPerform workstation refreshes, office relocations, and technology rolloutsAssist with cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization projectsExecute project tasks according to documented scope, timelines, and budgetsConfigure and support network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, and firewallsAdminister Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file servicesManage Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint, and TeamsSupport backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutionsTroubleshoot server, workstation, and network issues during project engagementsServe as a technical resource during client meetings and project discussionsCommunicate project status, risks, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholdersCreate and maintain technical documentationIdentify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancementsProvide post-implementation support and knowledge transferCollaborate with Systems Engineers on larger infrastructure and cloud projectsEscalate complex technical challenges when appropriateContribute to documentation standards and technical best practicesParticipate in training and professional development activitiesRequired Experience3–5 years of experience supporting and implementing business technology solutionsExperience administering Windows Server environmentsExperience with Microsoft 365 administration and migrationsExperience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft networking servicesExperience deploying and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systemsWorking knowledge of virtualization technologiesExperience with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching, and wireless networkingPreferred ExperienceExperience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-VExperience with Microsoft AzureExperience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutionsExperience with firewall administration and network security conceptsExperience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP), VAR, consulting organization, or internal IT department supporting multiple environmentsCertifications (Preferred)Microsoft certificationsCompTIA Network+CompTIA Security+VMware certificationsOther relevant infrastructure or cloud certificationsInsurance BenefitsEligibility begins the first day of full-time employment (date of hire).Life InsuranceShort-term DisabilityLong-term DisabilityCafeteria Plan – Premium, Medical, & Child Care ReimbursementHealth InsuranceDental PlanVision PlanOther Benefits401K MatchingReferral BonusesTuition ReimbursementPerformance IncentivesTime Off – benefits accrue on a pro-rated basis each pay period over a 12-month period with the following maximums:Vacation Time – 10 days per calendar yearSick Leave – 5 days per calendar yearPaid Company Holidays (7)Paid Floating Holidays (2)Volunteer 1Cell Phone & Internet Reimbursement
