QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university; Eligible for AFJROTC instructor's license; retired from U.S. Air Force; General knowledge of curriculum and instruction; Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; Air Force JROTC applicants must apply through:TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 187 daysSALARY:
Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees (MIP - Minimum Instructor Pay)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.WORKING CONDITIONS:
Tools/Equipment Used: Personal computer and peripherals; standard instructional equipment. Posture: Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Motion: Frequent walking. Lifting: Regular moderate lifting and carrying (15–44 pounds). Environment: frequent exposure to sun, heat, cold and expected to work outside. Frequent exposure to noise. Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent travel and frequent travel by school bus.APPLICATION INFORMATION
