Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Inpatient Rehab in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This travel temporary assignment starts 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. You will earn a weekly pay rate of $1,549–$1,597 with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shifts are days, with 8-hour blocks (08:00–16:30). The assignment takes place in a skilled nursing facility with an inpatient rehab focus.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to inpatients in a rehab-focused setting.
- Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and upper-extremity function.
- Document patient progress, modify plans as needed, and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.
- Educate patients and families on strategies for safety, functional independence, and discharge planning.

Requirements
- Agencies must have NM caregiver account (per Job Notes)
- Active New Mexico COTA license or eligibility to practice
- Graduation from an approved COTA program and national certification
- Experience in an inpatient rehab or SNF setting preferred
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing/inpatient rehab environment
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
