Make a meaningful impact by providing essential speech-language services to a third-grade student requiring after-school compensatory support. This ongoing contract position is perfect for a skilled clinician looking for a flexible opportunity to collaborate closely with families while drawing on their expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). The work will be conducted after 3:30 PM under a schedule coordinated directly with the student’s family to support both academic and therapeutic goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
• Familiarity with compensatory education and IEP-driven mandates
• Strong assessment, documentation, and progress-monitoring skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students and families
• Commitment to ethical practice and up-to-date with current SLP best practices

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct compensatory SLP services as outlined: 7 initial sessions (30 minutes each) and ongoing weekly 30-minute sessions
• Deliver individualized, evidence-based interventions to meet the student’s IEP goals
• Collaborate and communicate with parents to coordinate session times and share progress updates
• Document session outcomes and complete related reporting in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and adaptive therapeutic environment
