SAT Coordinator (EXTRA-CURRICULAR) 9-12 GCHS

Teacher Qualifications: Must be a teacher at the above listed school Reports to: Principal Responsibility: Each school principal/building administrator shall be responsible for establishing a Student Assistance Team. All schools will be assigned a Students Assistance Team Coordinator (s) to assist building administrators who shall serve as the SAT chairperson. The SAT Coordinator will accept referrals from staff, parents, and/or community agencies. Meetings will be scheduled as needed to review individual student needs and will develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies. Maintain appropriate documentation of its activities. Each SAT will be trained in appropriate instructional and behavioral intervention strategies, as well as referral procedures. Other duties may be assigned by the Principal.
