Job Details

• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
• Employment Type: Travel LPN / Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Girard, PA - Northwestern Pennsylvania
• Setting: Long-term care / skilled nursing facility / post-acute care
• Shift: 8-hour night shifts, 10:45 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700 - $1,790
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Charting System: PointClickCare (PCC)
• Orientation: 3 days
• Schedule Notes: Scheduled shifts only; holiday coverage as assigned on the published schedule

Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license
• At least 1 year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience within the last 3 years
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience with PointClickCare preferred
• Experience measuring wounds is required
• Ability to work 8-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Comfort working in a fast-paced post-acute care environment
• Valid driver's license required for submission

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in long-term care, skilled rehab, and dementia units
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor blood glucose levels and administer insulin as ordered
• Assist with IV medications, including antibiotics and diuretics as appropriate
• Manage tube feedings, Foley/catheter care, trach care, and oxygen support
• Perform wound care, including wound measurements and ongoing monitoring
• Collect labs and specimens and complete assessment charting and incident reports
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident comfort and safety
• Monitor vital signs and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support resident-centered care
