Project Engineer / Field Engineer - Heavy Civil (FDOT) | South Florida

I’m working with a well-established heavy civil contractor in South Florida with a strong pipeline of FDOT and municipal infrastructure work across the region.

This is a field-heavy role where you’ll be involved in day-to-day operations and project execution from the ground up.

Projects across South Florida (Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade)

What You’ll Work On

• Active FDOT and municipal roadway projects
• Scopes include:
• Earthwork and grading
• Drainage and utilities
• Roadway and MOT operations
• Fast-paced projects with constant field activity

Responsibilities

• Work directly with superintendents and field crews
• Track production, quantities, and job progress
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and daily reporting
• Coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors
• Support schedule execution and field problem-solving
