The successful candidate will be responsible for leading both internal and external teams through project planning, design management, preconstruction, and construction delivery, ensuring that all projects align with the company's financial, quality, and schedule objectives. This role requires a strategic builder with a strong background in ground-up multifamily construction and site development infrastructure. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the company's design and construction strategy, collaborating with various departments during the early stages of project development, and establishing project delivery frameworks and construction best practices. The VP will also be involved in design management, preconstruction and construction oversight, team development, and financial and risk management. Applicants for the Vice President of Design and Construction position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7-10 years' of experience in real estate development, construction management, or design/build general contracting. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of multifamily design and construction systems, as well as experience in site development and infrastructure construction.
