Critical Care Travel Registered Nurse

Role Overview Seeking an experienced nurse for a travel nursing position requiring critical care expertise, including CVICU responsibilities such as post-operative recovery of cardiovascular procedures, management of high-acuity cardiology patients, and utilization of advanced devices like Impellas, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices. Role Overview Seeking an experienced nurse for a travel nursing position requiring critical care expertise, including CVICU responsibilities such as post-operative recovery of cardiovascular procedures, management of high-acuity cardiology patients, and utilization of advanced devices like Impellas, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices. Key Responsibilities Provide pre-operative support and post-operative care for cardiovascular patients. Float across multiple units including MICU, SICU, and CVICU. Maintain adherence to shift schedules, including every other weekend. Complete required pre-employment modules and upload certifications for onboarding. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 12 months recent critical care experience, with 3 months in the last year. Diploma of Nursing required; BSN preferred. Ohio or compact nursing license required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Ability to float across different ICU units. Experience with high-acuity cardiovascular patients and advanced devices. Additional Details Must provide references within the last 2 years and proof of identification. Maximum time off allowed is 14 days.
