EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:

We are offering a hospital-based Urgent Care position in West Union, OH. This facility combines Urgent Care and Family Practice services and operates seven days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

• Option 1: A base salary of $284,835* (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates) with additional earnings based on experience, guaranteed for two years. This can transition to a wRVU production contract once targets are surpassed.
• Option 2: A base salary of $353,950* (75th percentile MGMA) guaranteed for one year, after which it will convert to a wRVU production contract.

Additional Benefits Included in the 2-Year Contract:

• Vacation: 232 hours of paid time off (PTO), plus an additional 40 hours for achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.
• CME/Books & Journals: 40 hours of PTO and up to $5,000 for continuing medical education.
• Deferred Compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral of up to the IRS limit of $22,500 annually before taxes, with no matching contributions.
• Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan permitting deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,000 annually for those under 50, and $30,500 for those over 50. The organization matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base salary.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 paid directly to a moving company.

• Malpractice Insurance: Claims-made coverage of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
• Health Insurance: A small premium paid by the provider, deducted from paychecks.
• Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.

• Bonus Opportunities: Attractive bonus incentives of up to 10% of salary.
• Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 in repayment ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).
• Sign-On Bonus: 15% of base salary, up to $100,000 (paid upon contract signing and forgiven over 2-4 years).
• Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000 (requires a service commitment of up to two years).

PRACTICE DETAILS:

• Location: West Union Family Health Center.

• Office Hours/Work Schedule:
• Operating hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Shifts: 6 or 7 twelve-hour shifts per two-week pay period, with rotating weekends.
• Lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services align with Urgent Care hours.
• Family practice, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound services are available by appointment.

• Staffing:
• 1 nurse per provider, with 2 providers working each day.
• Current providers include Sarica Lillie, NP; Andrew Shaheen, NP; Tara Applegate, NP; and Teresa Barnett, NP.

• Patient Load: Approximately 30 patients per day.

• Equipment: Includes IV pumps, slit lamp, basic instruments, AED, and EKG.

• Practice Expectations:
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unexpected situations.
• Confidence in making quick assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Timely completion of patient charts.
• Engagement in Antibiotic Stewardship initiatives.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Teaching Opportunities: The organization hosts medical students, residents, and advanced practitioner trainees. Staff may qualify for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with a local university.
