About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership for all HR functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee engagement, labor relations, compliance, and workforce planning, ensuring that these activities are in line with the organization's mission and strategic plan. This role is pivotal in maintaining the company's reputation for quality services and will involve managing a team, budget, and working closely with the Executive Leadership team to shape organizational strategy and culture. The ideal candidate will have a background in HR leadership, with a preference for experience in the healthcare and senior services sector, and a proven track record of promoting inclusion, driving measurable results, and managing HR functions in compliance with relevant laws and policies. Key responsibilities for the Senior Vice President of Human Resources include advocating for new HR initiatives, increasing the visibility of the organization's work, and supporting the Executive Leadership team with executive coaching. The role also involves proactively developing the talent of the HR staff, managing complex employee relations, and labor strategy. The candidate should be adept at managing people and processes to ensure compliance, creating and managing consistent compensation policies, and have a reputation for mentoring and treating staff with respect. The position is suited for a strategic HR leader who is passionate about enhancing the lives of the community and is ready to take on the challenge of reducing turnover and improving retention, particularly in critical roles such as nursing and certified nursing aids.
