Commercial Lines Insurance Producer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Lines Insurance Producer. The Producer will be responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, identifying commercial insurance needs, and designing comprehensive insurance solutions for business clients.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven professional with strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, excellent sales skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain a book of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and generate new commercial insurance business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and existing relationships.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients and prospects.
• Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Market accounts to insurance carriers and negotiate competitive terms, pricing, and coverage.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals to prospective and existing clients.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting through closing.
• Cross-sell and identify opportunities for additional coverage and account growth.
• Collaborate with account managers, carriers, underwriters, and other internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and client information in the agency management/CRM system.
• Stay current on commercial insurance products, carrier appetites, market conditions, and industry trends.
• Meet or exceed established new-business, revenue, retention, and production goals.
• Comply with all applicable insurance regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• 3+ years of commercial insurance sales/production experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success developing and retaining a commercial book of business.
• Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance products.
• Excellent prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
