Job Quick Facts:
• Specialty: Psychiatry • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Newburgh, IN • Service Setting: Inpatient • Coverage Period: Aug 1 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + call • Shift Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off; 8-hr shifts • Call Schedule: Weekends - Only during the 14-day rotation - Starts Mondays & ends on Sundays; weekend PM call both weekends during rotation • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 30 mins • Patient Volume: 15-20• Admissions Required: Yes • Rounding Included: Yes • Ratio of follow-ups to new evaluations: 2:1• Support Staff: 2 IP NPs & PRN NPs when needed. • Physicians in Practice: 2 Psychiatrists that alternate 14 days on 14 days off; 1 psych available at a time.
• Cases: General behavioral health issues • Required Procedures: Familiarity with involuntary commitments • EMR: HCS for Orders, Fluency Flex for Notes, Medik, Onbase • No. of Beds: 48• Other Info: An adult care setting & acute psychiatric unit/institute. • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active IN license • BC/BE • Local or drive-in only • MUST be able to accommodate the schedule
