• Shift: 8-hour shifts, 14 days on/14 days off rotation, weekend call coverage (Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm)
• Hours/Week: 40 hours (approximate) during work period
• Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem
• License/Certs: Indiana Medical License, BC Psychiatry
• Experience: Prior inpatient adult psychiatry experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:

• Provide adult psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Prescribe and monitor medication management for adult patients
• Participate in weekend call coverage as scheduled during rotation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supporting inpatient mental health care
• Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Follow facility policies and ensure compliance with all regulations

What You Need:

• Valid Indiana Medical License and BC in Psychiatry
• Minimum 2 years inpatient psychiatric experience in adult care setting
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and handle call responsibilities

The team includes two psychiatrists alternating 14-day rotations, supported by inpatient nurse practitioners.
