End Date / Duration: Ongoing

Shift: 8-hour shifts; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (call coverage on weekends during rotation)

Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem

License/Certs: Indiana Medical License, DEA, board certification in psychiatry (MD required)

Experience: Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred, 2+ years ideal

Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (please note details will be discussed upon application)

What You'll Do:

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult patients in a 48-bed licensed facility
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including NPs supporting inpatient care
• Participate in call coverage during scheduled weekends
• Ensure quality and compassionate mental health care delivery
• Document clinical interactions in electronic health records (EMR: Epic)
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and state regulations

What You Need:

• Valid Indiana Medical License and DEA certification
• Board-certified in Psychiatry (MD required)
• Minimum 2+ years inpatient psychiatric experience
• Ability to work 14-day rotations with flexibility for call coverage
• Local or nearby candidate preferred; must be able to accommodate schedule
