About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Experience with HFNC, BIPAP, and stable medication management - Experience with post-operative care for CABG, AVR, and MVR - Experience with cardiovascular and vascular patients - Experience with AAA repair, lobectomy, CEA, NSTEMI, and STEMI - Experience with acute coronary syndrome, pacemakers, and sepsis - Experience with gastrointestinal bleeding, post-DKA, respiratory failure, and tracheostomies Description: This is a step-down unit with a total of 30 beds. The unit provides care for patients transitioning from critical care. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include managing patients with respiratory support and medication therapies. Experience with cardiovascular surgeries and conditions is essential. The role also requires strong critical thinking and communication skills. Teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals are important in this position.
