Job Description and Duties Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I provides support to the Security Systems Section. The Analyst I assists with the daily operation and upkeep of the Department’s physical security systems, including access control, visitor management, video surveillance, and emergency alert platforms. The incumbent supports system monitoring, updates, troubleshooting, and documentation, and helps ensure these proprietary systems function reliably and align with departmental standards. The Analyst I also contributes to the Department’s Security and Crime Prevention Program by coordinating armed and unarmed security services, assisting with contract management, reviewing incident information, and supporting policy and procedure updates. The incumbent is expected to deliver timely, professional customer service, follow through on assignments, and work collaboratively with internal and external customers. Incumbent must be prepared to respond promptly to emergency incidents, and be willing to respond by mobile phone outside of normal business hours on occasion.
